Police were alerted to the robbery at the Artillerigatan – Riddargatan crossing at 7:26 p.m.
– There were two people, the plaintiffs and a friend. Two perpetrators must have taken property from one of the two people. One of them displayed a knife and seized property, including a watch and a purse, says Anna Westberg, a police spokeswoman.
When the thieves tried to leave the crime scene, an outsider intervened.
– A private individual has simply detained one of them. Since then, more have come to help keep the person waiting for the police, says Anna Westberg.
The other perpetrator managed to escape on a black moped in the direction of Strandvägen.
In addition to robberies, the police classify the incident as illegal threats and assault.
– The person who made the one-man arrest must have received some type of threat and some type of blow or similar. I don’t know exactly what happened, says Anna Westberg.
Police are investigating whether there are surveillance cameras in the area.
