The newspaper Expo has carried out a poll on the Twitter account of the Swedish democratic politician Thomas Olin.
Thomas Olin is on the municipal council of Mölndal and, in addition to this assignment, on several of the municipal committees, as well as the municipal companies Mölndals Energi AB and Mölndals Parkering ABB.
Among the people with whom Thomas Olin shared posts were, among others, neo-Nazis, the leader of a local branch within the Nordic resistance movement and a former leader of the Hells Angels.
Conspiracy theory about South Africa
In early July, Olin himself writes about his belief that there is systematic persecution of whites in South Africa, which Expo describes as “far-right conspiracy theories.”
“If this maniac were to win the presidential elections, the United States would be transformed into a new South Africa, but 1000 times worse we see the beginning of this already today when whites are beaten and killed without the media reacting”
On the same day, Olin writes about the American presidential candidate Joe Biden:
“It’s starting now! If this doesn’t stop now, we will soon have a new South Africa where white business owners will be dragged to the streets and executed. If Joe Biden wins, America is finished.”
Another post he shares is a slow motion movie that supposedly shows how an alleged antifa supporter is “knocked out.”
“That clip that you can watch multiple times and enjoy the same amount each time is wonderful.”, is commented in the clip shared by the SD politician.
Dirty pitches George Floyd
Expo also showcases Thomas Olin’s coverage and attitude towards George Floyd’s death, which sparked major riots and movements for justice in the United States.
“Stefan Åsberg says in Aktuellt that you should highlight what George Floyd stood for. What would that be? Crime and drug abuse ???”, he says in a post he shared.
A few days later, he shares a post from which it is reported that he “kidnapped and abused a pregnant woman.”
Floyd, who died after being strangled to death as a result of police intervention, was not suspected of a felony or exhibited violent behavior prior to his death. Nor was he convicted of kidnapping or abusing a pregnant woman.
SD: Will be investigated
Zandra Pettersson, district chairman of the Swedish Democrats in Västra Götaland West, tells Expo that Thomas Olin will now be investigated.
– It is worrisome what the article shows and something that we must address. If you spread racism in our party, we will show where the door is, says Zandra Pettersson to Expo.
– Then we spoke with the president of Mölndal and the district board. It is a democratic process that must be carried out.
GP has contacted Thomas Olin by phone, text message, email and through the Swedish Democrats’ press service. GP has also applied to Zandra Pettersson by phone, text message and through the Swedish Democrats press service.
