Skellefteå controlled the game from the start and Modo had to incur three expulsions in the first period and as many in the second.
It only took 26 seconds of intermission before Joakim Lindström broke the deadlock and gave Skellefteå the lead, this time in the five-on-five game.
But Skellefteå would have a chance to continue rubbing the numerical superiority and made it 2-0 in the fifth on four, Joakim Lindström’s second goal of the night.
Skellefteå put together two lineups: one with seasoned Lindström / Möller key players and in the other, former JVM players have the opportunity together.

At the beginning of the third period, Skellefteå expanded to a three goal lead through the new acquisition of Tyler Morley and became the nail in the coffin for the SHL team.
Modo picked up two more ejections in the final period, but was still able to see the numbers well in the final stages of the match.
Linus Pettersson dropped to 1-3 with just over a minute into the game and that was the final result at the Fjällräven Center.
