According to Principal Ingalill Fritzon, it all started on the second day of the fall term. When the new students took a class photo in the schoolyard, one of the students gave Hitler a salute.
– When we saw the picture, of course, we were completely horrified. We do research in different ways and find other things as well, says director Ingalill Fritzon.
Following the incident with the class photo, it emerged that two students in another year of the same high school program raped a classmate, who now does not want to go to school. A professor has also been suspended during the investigation.
Right-wing extremist and sexist comments
According to students who attended the current program at Ka 0000-skolan, there have been sexist and right-wing extremist comments from students for several years. One student says she was called a feminist fagot and that her classmates shared posts from the Nazi Northern Front on social media.
A student is said to have greeted Hitler during a photoshoot at school, but was stopped by the photographer.
– It’s sick that such a small line can attract so many with such opinions without the teachers and the administration doing anything, says one of the students who attended the program a few years ago.
– We have alerted about this. There is a problem on this line. It’s ridiculous that management now says they’re shocked, says another student.
“Extremely important”
Both students, who have attended the program for different years, otherwise emphasize that the education was very good.
Principal Ingalill Fritzon is asked if she is aware that students have sounded the alarm about students’ sexist and extremist right-wing views and comments.
– If there are infractions in the school, it is extremely important that we, in the direction of the school, participate in them. We react immediately, as in this case, Ingalill Fritzon responds.
