The pandemic appears to have heated up the phone. Telia and Telenor data shows longer calls and higher data usage. Long talks can be found in Gotland and Blekinge.
Telia has produced figures for the 26 to 33 week period. Talks increased by eleven percent compared to the same period in 2019, while Swedes sailed 21 percent more on average than the previous year. Above all, it is the elderly, over 65, who have used the telephone the most.

Norrbotten people on top
When it comes to data use, Norrbotten and Stockholm counties are the fastest growing (26 percent), followed by Jämtland / Härjedalen (25 percent).
Telenor sees a similar development when the number of calls increased by 19 percent during the July 1-August 23 period and the total number of call minutes increased by 27 percent.
At the same time, mobile browsing increased by 26 percent.
