On the night of August 2, Adriana, 12, took her dog for a walk in Norsborg, south of Stockholm. Between McDonald’s and Shell, a white Audi with several perpetrators suddenly appeared and opened fire.
After the shooting, Adriana stayed on the ground. She was taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds, but her life could not be saved.

– It is exceptional to shoot and kill a 12-year-old boy. I think most offenders would strongly dissociate themselves from this, lawyer Thomas Bodström, assistant to the family plaintiff, tells Expressen.
Adriana’s parents approved the publication of Adriana’s names and pictures, through Thomas Bodström.
According to information from Expressen, the real targets were two young men with ties to the Botkyrka criminal network. No one has been arrested yet.

Thomas Bodström wants to vigorously oppose the self-righteous appraisals he has learned about Adriana’s night out.

I can say that she has the most loving and ambitious parents I have ever met and that she was a very good girl. But it was summer vacation, it was light, it was hot and she went out with her friends and the dog and then this happened, says Bodström.

Adriana wanted to be a veterinarian
Friends tell TV3’s “Wanted” that Adriana was loving, funny and witty. That she loved dancing, recording videos on the Tik-Tok app, and that she wanted to train as a veterinarian.
Just over a month after being murdered, she would have turned 13 years old.
– I was always like his older sister and because of that, overprotective. But not the way I thought I might die, says her friend Lilly in “Wanted.”
Still, she had a bad stomach the night Adriana was shot and killed.
– I told him to go home. It was like I was feeling something but I didn’t think it was going to be something like that.
“She was always there for you”
When Lilly describes her friend, she says:
– It was funny, exaggerated, you were never bored with it. She was always there for you when you weren’t feeling well. She’s like an angel, so I think she’s an angel now too.
Lilly also tells “Wanted” about the shock when she learned that Adriana had died. How she sat with the phone in hand and looked at the wall.
– I still don’t think … I think she’s had a vacation or curfew or something, not that she’s dead.
