The party also wants to see a new wealth tax of 1.5 percent on net worth of 6 to 10 million SEK, which is then increased by two more steps to increase wealth.

The Left Party also wants to lower the state income tax limit to SEK 42,000 per month and have “more progressivity” in capital taxes. Additionally, the party wants to see properties with high appraised values ​​pay more taxes.

However, according to Andersson, V wants to wait with an increase in restaurant VAT and corporate tax, as many companies are going through difficult times during the pandemic.
