The Western Swedish Court of Appeal confirms the verdict on the 52-year-old man convicted of murdering his girlfriend in Kungsbacka township on Christmas Day 2019. The district court’s verdict on the chain therefore stands life.
The man had appealed the verdict of the Varberg District Court to the Western Swedish Court of Appeal with reference to the fact that he had difficulty controlling his actions due to his poor mental state and the use of alcohol and drugs.

The alarm rang on Christmas Eve

A man was arrested the same night when he alerted the police himself and said he was guilty. The man admitted that he shot himself in the house with a shotgun and then shot the woman. After the murder, the 52-year-old man went to kill a man in his home.

According to the district court ruling, the Court of Appeal announces that the 52-year-old will be sentenced for murder, preparation for murder, offensive photography, illegal wiretapping and aggravated drunk driving.
The 52-year-old will remain in custody until the life sentence is final.
