Do you take care of Doggelitos?
Douglas “Dogge Doggelito” León, 45, mourns his deceased friend.

“Daddy Boastin leaves a great void,” he writes in a text message.
“He had a cancer that not many people knew about”
Daddy Boastin ‘reunited with parts of the Latin Kings in November 2019 for a concert at Nalen in Stockholm. They also had a concert reserved for the festival “We who love the 90s”, a festival that was canceled on the eve of the corona pandemic and that will take place next year.
– At that festival we would hang out as Latin Kings, so Nalen became the last big thing we had time to do, says Dogge Doggelito when contacted by Aftonbladet on the phone.
Dogge didn’t have much contact with him lately, but says it was the cancer that Boastin ‘died from.
– He had cancer that not many people knew about when they didn’t want to talk about it. In the end, he passed away. Somehow it feels unreal. I met him early in life and he quickly became a great role model and inspiration for me. It was a big part of the hip hop and reggae culture in Sweden. He’s been with us for so long, like when we won the Grammys, gold records and all that, he says.
Performance around the world
How do you feel now?
– It’s very sad what happened, but everything also has its end. We should be happy to be able to experience it and get to know it. We sing all over the world, all the trips were incredible and what we lived with Daddy Boastin ‘will remain as a fond memory of a dear friend, says Dogge.
