Reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton took pole position at the Belgian GP in F1 for the sixth time and set a new travel record of 1.41.252.
After qualifying, he got in his car and crossed his arms to honor actor Chadwick Boseman, who died of cancer.
“I want to dedicate my pole position to Chadwick. What he accomplished and the legacy he leaves behind is amazing. He inspired a whole generation of young black men and women and gave them a true superhero to look up to. Rest in the power my friend ”, he writes on Twitter.

Turned 43
Chadwick Boseman broke through with the hit movie “Black Panther,” one of the first superhero movies to feature a black person in the lead roles.
He turned 43 after being ill with colon cancer since 2016.
– I woke up to the saddest news that Chadwick had died. This has been such a difficult year for all of us that it cost us a lot. I wanted to go out and drive seamlessly because of all that he has done for our people and how he has shown young children what is possible, says Hamilton.
Hamilton leads the World Cup series 37 points ahead of Max Verstappen.
