President Donald Trump visited hurricane-struck Texas on Saturday and was later asked if he plans to visit Kenosha, Wisconsin.

US President Donald Trump will visit Kenosha in Wisconsin on Tuesday, the White House announces.

Earlier on Saturday, Trump received a question from reporters in case he intended to visit the caravel-ravaged city.

“Probably,” he replied.

A White House official says the president will visit police and inspect damage after protests and riots this week.

Another protest march was held in Kenosha on Saturday, after three days of tense calm. The White House has dispatched about 1,000 National Guard men to stop the unrest.

Protests and riots erupted last Sunday after Jacob Blake was seriously shot by police in front of his children. The riots culminated Tuesday night when two protesters were shot and killed during the protests. A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder after shooting at people with automatic weapons.

Trump’s challenger in this fall’s presidential election, Joe Biden, announced this week that he also intends to visit Wisconsin during his election campaign.
