No, it’s lightning and thunder now, but the weather will be fine again until next week.
– Starting Monday, there will be high pressure on the country, says Maria Svedestig, a meteorologist at the SMHI.
After the rain the sun comes out, it is usually hot. And that’s exactly what will happen next week, according to meteorologists’ weather maps.
So far, the weekend has been dominated by unstable weather. Heavy rains and locally also thunder.
In southern Sweden and Jämtland, lightning and thunder have fallen.
– In southern Svealand, it has also been unstable. There have been heavy rains on Gotland, says Maria Svedestig, a meteorologist at SMHI.
Tomorrow the rain clouds recede to the east.
But then a new front awaits, moving from Norrland south. Only after it has passed does the sun seriously reappear.
– During the night of Monday, once the front is passed, a high pressure will be installed over a large part of the country, says Maria Svedestig.
This means that the first days of next week will be warm and comfortable with temperatures around 20 degrees.
– It may not be a lot of summer heat and clear blue skies all the time, but good morning September.
