The rapprochement between the United Arab Emirates and Israel, which recently agreed to normalize their relations, continues. The Emirates announce that they are repealing a 1972 law that involved introducing a boycott against Israel.

“Israeli goods and products of all kinds may be traded, traded or traded in the United Arab Emirates and traded with them,” reports the state news agency Wam.

With the agreement, the United Arab Emirates will be the first Gulf state, and the third Arab country, to establish full diplomatic relations with Israel. Under the US-brokered agreement reached in early August, Israel is committed to halting the planned annexation of Palestinian land in the occupied West Bank. However, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said plans are still on the table.

Palestinian leaders have described the agreement as a betrayal of the United Arab Emirates.
