Boy under 15 stabbed at school

The boy, less than 15 years old, was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

At 19:00 at night, the police are unable to provide further information on the damage situation.

– I spoke with the leader of the preliminary investigation on duty and asked him if the child has serious injuries. They don’t have that information now, so we can’t go out of our way to say anything about the damage situation. It is not yet clear, says Åsa Wallentin, a press spokesperson for the Stockholm Police.

Police still do not know if the injured child or other people involved in the incident are students at the school or have some other connection there.

Alessandra Wallman, director of the administration of children and education at Solna, tells the Mitti newspaper that students at the school in question remained inside after the incident. Parents were urged to pick up their children from the school’s main entrance while police cordoned off an area around the school.

A great deal of effort is being made and the police are working to obtain leads, search for the perpetrators, and check if there are surveillance camera videos that are interesting in the case.

– We have conducted a large number of witness interviews, there is an intense investigation. We can’t say more than that at the moment, says Åsa Wallentin, press spokesperson for the Stockholm Police.

No one has been arrested on suspicion of the crime. Police are investigating the incident as an assassination attempt.
