The Norwegian border can be opened soon

Just over two months ago, Norway’s borders of entry were closed, except for job posting and people with special permits.

It has strongly affected Swedish business along the border, which largely feeds Norwegian tourists.

Alert staff required

One of them is Mats Idbratt, operations manager for about 30 stores in Nordby Shoppingcenter.

– The message was a bit as expected and I may even be a bit more optimistic than I was before. I think these are positive signs, “he tells P4 West.

During the crown crisis, some of Mats Idbratt’s candy stores had to notify staff.

– It’s the same everywhere. It has been a 95 percent drop for us in sales, he tells P4 West.
