Now Michelle Karvinen, 30, leaves Luleå hockey.
“The heart hurts”, she writes on Twitter.
After five years, three gold medals and a total of 373 points (163 + 210) in 187 games, Finnish superstar Luleå is now gone.
And she does it with a feeling of sadness.
“Playing for Luleå Hockey is the best decision I have ever made in my career. It has been an honor to represent a club that changed the conditions for the players and gave the young hockey girls something to dream about. My heart hurts as I write this, it has been the most difficult decision of my entire career “Karvinen writes on Twitter.
“Ready for the next adventure”
He holds the club record for the number of goals, assists and points scored and has made seven hattricks during his years at Luleå.
Where to play next is not known.
“I feel as a person and as a player that I am ready for the next adventure in life”writes the 30-year-old man.
