Passengers are reported to be unhappy with Magnus Ingesson and Stefan Thomson.
But now it has been confirmed that the coaching duo will remain on the national team.
– We will be the best national team in the world, says national team manager Anders Byström.
Already last week, Sportbladet was able to say that Magnus Ingesson and Stefan Thomson will continue to have confidence as coaches of the women’s team. This was confirmed during Thursday’s press conference where Anders Högberg and Lars Ljung were also introduced as new coaches.
– We have been looking for people who have really driven and who can fit into our organization. It is the feeling that we will become the best national team in the world. Or we are, but we should be even better, says national team manager Anders Byström.
“You will work harder”
What’s new for next season is that the men’s and women’s teams will work more together. Ingesson and Thomson have responsibility for the ladies and gentlemen along with Högberg, who was previously a coach in Norway.
– There will probably be a certain division where Högberg will have a little more towards Mr and Ljung against Bahaus. But we will work much more closely and take advantage of each other’s knowledge, says Ingesson.

Lately he’s been assaulting the national team and earlier this spring Ingesson and Thomson focused after Expressen released information that several riders were dissatisfied with camp operations and training design. After that, SVT also revealed that the coaching duo would be forced to abandon their duties.
