Hannes, 19, has not been found after being without trace for more than a week.
On Thursday, Missing People is planning a new search effort at Sundsvall.
“The hope, of course, is to find him alive,” says Hannes’ father, Markus.
On Monday May 4, Hannes was seen in Sidsjön, a natural area outside the center of Sundsvall. The 19-year-old has since disappeared. Police suspect he was kidnapped.
– I have a feeling of constant heaviness sitting on my chest. “Is he in the woods? Or where is he? I think,” says Hannes’ father Markus.
During Tuesday night, Missing People made their first walk with the public in the Sidsjön area.
– It was nice to be able to look outside with others. It was a relief to be active, but at the same time very heavy, ”says Markus, who participated in the search.

Hannes was last seen on May 4.
No business has been done.
Participation was excellent and some 300 volunteers participated in the collection.
– It feels great that so many people get involved and worry. I replied that there were many young people who helped find what was pleasant to see, says Markus.
About 70-80 hectares were searched. But so far no findings have been made.
– It was positive and negative that we have not found it. The hope, of course, is to find him alive. All the other thoughts I don’t even dare think about, says Markus.
During Wednesday, Missing People will organize another search effort.

– Today they have gone through the last search and are planning a new one. Logistically it is a challenge to organize so many resources, although of course it is incredibly welcoming and requires so many to participate, says Henrik Blusi, a police investigator.
While Missing People is organizing the search in the field, the police are working to obtain information.
“Many rumors abound”
– It is an invaluable aid to help in the search. We cannot finish 300 people. At the same time, we continue to hold hearings from early in the morning until late at night.
Why do you qualify the case as an alleged robbery?
– It is based on the initial information we receive from social networks and advice. Many rumors abound, and we are working to discover and create a picture of what may have happened, he says.
