The Public Health Authority is studying the possibilities of breaking the isolation of healthy “elderly” over 70 years. Authority CEO Johan Carlson was briefed on the SVT “Agenda” on Sunday night.

– We have lived with this situation for two months, but we cannot live with it semi-annually or annually, but we have to try to find out if it is because some groups, especially the younger elderly, over 70 years of age, are not at all some group of particularly big risk, Carlson said.

The program manager, Anna Hedenmo, asked Johan Carlson if it could already be relevant during the vacation months with different recommendations for this age group.

“As soon as we can be sure of something, yes,” Carlson replied.
