After months of closed communities, several countries today relaxed their quarantine rules.

German students were tested before school and in Brussels queues rang out along shopping streets.

In Belgium, residents have been quarantined for eight weeks. When the country opened all the stores on Monday, many people took the opportunity to go outdoors.

In Brussels, queues started ringing along shopping streets hours before opening, The Brussels Times reports. Outside various stores and department stores, people brought mouth guards.

The police were on the streets and made sure that the rules on social distance were followed. Among other things, the authorities have decided to establish fence ramps along certain pedestrian streets to keep visitors separate.

Even in Germany, like here in Munich, the newly opened stores attracted customers tired of isolation.

Healthy Students Wear Green Sticker

In Germany, restrictions have slowly eased and the 16 states are opening at different rates. States decide for themselves when restrictions should be lifted and schools gradually open. Restaurants can open on Fridays. According to The New York Times, at a school in Neustrelitz in northern Germany, students were given permission to return to the school bench after taking a crown test on themselves.

A positive test means that students must be home from school for another two weeks. Students who tested negative can use a green sticker as a sign that they are infectious and can move around the school area without mouth protection. Every four days, students must be reevaluated.

Face mask requirements in Turkey

For the first time in seven weeks, shopping malls in Turkey also opened on Monday, AP reports. Before a visitor enters the mall, their temperature must be checked and everyone must wear a face mask. In addition, congestion should be avoided by limiting the number of visitors. Only one person is allowed for every ten square meters.

Turkish beauty salons can only accept reserved clients and can only use disposable products. Salons in Istanbul received unannounced visits Monday from authorities who inspected whether the rules were followed. People over 65 were allowed to stay outdoors for the first time in seven weeks on Sunday, but only for a couple of hours.

Confused-minded Tarragona residents enjoy partying and drinking in an open-air dining room, as Spain lifted the strictest restrictions for about half of the country’s roughly 47 million residents.

Even on Monday, France has cautiously eased its restrictions after almost two months of closing, writes CNN. Most stores have opened and the public must have mouth protection on public transportation. The country has also been divided into red and green zones. Red zone means stricter rules. Elementary school students returned to school, but only 15 students were able to get together.

In Spain, the community opens in different phases and the first phase began on Monday, reports El País. Restaurants and bars can now remain open, but only up to 30 percent of their capacity.
