Zlatan Ibrahimovic has left Sweden

Time with Zlatan Ibrahimovic in Hammarby training is over. At least for this time.

SVT Sport can now reveal that the Swedish superstar left Sweden and traveled back to Italy.

– It has been a fantastic reward for the club and not least for the players. Especially in these times. It’s been inspiring and positive, Hammarby sports manager Jesper Jansson tells SVT Sport.

What did you say when you separated?

– We said “see you soon”, I’m just kidding. No one knows what is happening these days, but we stay in touch.

Ibrahimovic’s contract with Milan expires on June 30 and Jansson has already opened up a bit for Zlatan to play at Hammarby. But no concrete discussions have been held yet.

– No, not specific. It is not known in these times with the uncertainty in soccer. I also don’t think Zlatan knows himself. He is totally focused on his employer Mllan.

Is your image that what remains of the season is the last thing you do in Milan?

I have no idea. All I know is that we are talking to Zlatan about how to improve Hammarby in the future.

What will your participation in Hammarby be like in the future?

– He is one of the co-owners and Corona’s times have allowed him to enter the club and how we work faster than if the season in Italy had been in full swing.
