Zlatan Ibrahimovic has left Sweden.

The star has flown back to Milan, reports SVT.

“We hope he completes his contract with Milan,” Hammarby sports manager Jesper Jansson told the site.

The 38-year-old superstar has been on Swedish soil and trained with Hammarby during the ongoing pandemic. This has led to speculation about whether the games in the green-white sweater may be relevant, and as late as yesterday (Sunday), Bajen’s sports manager, Jesper Jansson, opened the door for him.

– Probably, I think so. But only Zlatan himself knows this. He hasn’t said any of that and it’s not that I need to ask him and tell him we want him here, Jansson told Expressen.

“Have fun”

SVT Sport now declares that Zlatan, who has a contract with AC Milan until June 30, left Sweden and traveled back to Italy.

– It was a fun and exciting time to have him here, but today he returned to Italy. We hope he completes his contract with Milan, “Jesper Jansson told the site.

SVT: What did you say when you broke up?

– We said “see you soon”, I’m just kidding. No one knows what is happening these days, but we stay in touch.

Quarantined

According to Sports Media, Ibrahimovic will have to undergo routine health checks and remain in quarantine for two weeks when he returns to Italy.

The Serie A season is still on hiatus due to the crown crisis, but it is expected to be able to resume in late June. Players have been training individually since May 4 and will be able to train in groups starting May 18.
