The Board of Directors of Fanna BK has stated clearly and decisively that no player in the club has received or is paid to play in the club. However, persistent rumors have argued that this is not the case when it comes to the club’s male A team player.
“No player at the club receives any salary from Fanna,” Andreas Hammar, president of Fanna BK, has repeatedly said in several previous interviews with EnköpingsDirekt.
Now the magazine has found player contracts, signed by the club’s sports manager and team A players themselves. Contracts worth several hundred thousand crowns.
The contracts the newspaper has received are one-year contracts divided into two parts. In one part, what concerns the player and the club’s commitments to each other are discussed. These contracts do not mention that any compensation must be given to the player. But in the second part of the contract, called “Agreement between Fanna BK and X (players name)” in the title bar, it shows something completely different.
The “shadow contract” states that refunds of several hundred thousand SEK must or have been paid to players.
In the contract magazine received, the player is offered a guaranteed compensation of SEK 25,000 per month after tax for games in Fanna during 2020. This corresponds to an annual salary of just over SEK 400,000 before tax. It is also clear that when the player signed the contract, he received a so-called login bonus of 30,000 SEK, which was paid as a lump sum.
SEK 50,000 in advance
The same contract also states that the player receives a SEK 50,000 bonus if Fanna BK team A were to advance to Division 1 during the contract period. In addition, the player is entitled to soccer shoes worth 3,000.
When the newspaper got to know the contract, we contacted Fanna BK president Andreas Hammar, who replied:
– This contract was disclosed to the board on Tuesday. It also uncovered rumors last year that players were somehow compensated without the board knowing about it, but we couldn’t find any evidence that this was the case. Now we have it, says Andreas Hammar, president of Fanna BK.
How many of those “deals” are there?
– We know about this and two more contracts, says Hammar.
But can there be more?
– I don’t know if there is more.
You say this was made public on Tuesday. How has it been possible for the Board to avoid such contracts?
– There have been rumors that such contracts existed. We have sat down with Benjamin and asked for such contracts. We have asked to see a contract. But we have not received any. We couldn’t do more than that, says Andreas Hammar.
On Saturday morning, the board met with the sports manager and was later informed that the board had decided to kick him.

According to Fanta President Andreas Hammar, all contracts in which players are promised compensation are not valid. The sports manager, who signed the contracts, is not a signatory to the company and therefore lacks the legal right to enter into such agreements. He also insists that the club did not pay any compensation.
If not from Fanna, where does the money come from?
– Vyou don’t know where the money comes from. Other parts of society will find out, and then we’ll see what the consequences of this are, says Andreas Hammar.
Did the players know that contracts do not apply?
– Many of them think that it is Fanna with whom they have signed a contract.
Why not take it if you sit down and write a contract that clearly shows that it is a contract between Fanna BK and the player?
– It is the club’s insignia and everything that appears in the contract, so it is clear that you believe it as a player, he says.
Is there a valid player contract signed by you or the signer of the other company?
– For this season? It doesn’t. We will sit this week with all the players and discuss.
