Comprehensive monitoring

The equipment was connected to mobile phones and a router. According to the preliminary investigation, the man was able to dial the phones and thus connect to the cameras and microphones. He had also “mirrored” her phone in some way so he could see everything she did with it.

Their relationship ended in December, and the 52-year-old man saw, through his surveillance, that a few weeks earlier the girlfriend had met another man at a party.

Then he decided to murder both his girlfriend and his new friend.

Planned to kill them both

He armed himself with a shotgun that he loaded with slimy model ammunition. A type of ammunition that man used to hunt wild boars.

“I just wanted to confront them and find them together,” he says in a police interview.

But the bride was alone in the house on Christmas day.

In an interview with police, the 52-year-old man says he did not enter through the front door, but had to walk and enter through the patio door.

The man says in a police interview that he later shot the woman with three shots.

He admitted to murder

The previously installed spy equipment recorded all the noise of the murder on the tape. An audio file that the police found.

After the woman’s murder, the killer took his car and headed to the friend’s house. Preliminary research shows that the 52-year-old man Googled the man and tried to get his exact address.

However, he could not find the address and it turned out that his intended murder victim was also not home at the time.

The 52-year-old man called 112 and told him what he had done. He could be arrested by the police soon after.

When the police technician adjusted the woman’s home, all the hidden surveillance equipment was found. From seized phones and computers you can also secure saved evidence in the form of saved images, movies, and audio clips.

Among other things, the man had several photos of the naked woman on surveillance cameras. The investigation also revealed that the man, through his spy camera, had been looking at the woman and her family and friends while sitting looking at Kalle Duck on Christmas Eve.

Police were reported for service failures

Research also reveals that the woman was terrified of the man. The 52-year-old woman had also threatened her for life on Christmas Day.

Therefore, he alerted the police through 112. A call included in the preliminary investigation.

A police patrol was also on site at the address, but they left after talking to the woman and checking the scene.

A few hours later she was dead.

This resulted in the police being reported for service failures, which Aftonbladet previously reported.

The 52-year-old man is now being prosecuted in the Varberg District Court. He is suspected of murder, attempted murder, illegal interception, abusive photography, and drunkenness.
