The Finnish government is discussing the coronary restrictions introduced and how the country should proceed to eventually ease them.
Prime Minister Sanna Marín hopes, among other things, that the government will reach an agreement regarding the main summer events.
“The goal is for the organizers to know as soon as possible whether the events are worth continuing to plan or not,” he says on his way to the meeting in Helsinki.
The government will also discuss how the celebrations will be handled on election night.
“The crown epidemic is by no means over and one of the most important issues for today’s meeting is how people can safely celebrate,” said Interior Minister Maria Ohisalo.
During the meeting, experts will comment on various issues and the government will discuss, among other things, a timetable to reopen the country, but also tests and mapping of the coronavirus.
Another topic discussed beforehand is how effective it has been to carry out education remotely.
