Passers-by saw a dead man in the woods in a cemetery.
Police suspected of murder and technicians searched for traces at the scene overnight.
The man was shot and tied up when found, according to information from Aftonbladet.
The dead man was found at 6.30 p.m. Wednesday night in a forest area in Älta, south of Stockholm.
– It was a passer-by who saw the person and alerted. When we got there, we were able to confirm that he was a deceased man. The circumstances of the incident mean that we cannot exclude death-related crimes, Anna Westberg said at the regional police control center after the incident.
The dead man was in his twenties. According to Aftonbladet, they shot him and tied his hands behind his back when they found him.

The police investigate the murder.
He was found in a wooded area of a cemetery, a few hundred meters from a chapel and about 100 meters from a highway.
Police technicians worked throughout the afternoon and night behind the fences. The case was first investigated by police in the southern Stockholm region, but was later turned over to the City Crime Division.
– A preliminary investigation into the murder was launched. Otherwise, I can’t say much, says Dan Andersson, investigator on duty at the Flemingsberg Police.
No one had been arrested Thursday night for the murder. The relatives of the deceased are notified.
