He poured motor gasoline into the car
The investigation showed that the victim was shot several times in the head and neck. When he died, motor gasoline was poured into the vehicle.
Parts of the murder weapon, which was a rebuilt starter pistol, were found in the remains of the fire.
Before the event, witnesses saw “brawls and fights” in the car. In connection with the start of the fire, two “robust” men left the scene.
For a long time, the police had difficulty identifying the deceased.
Identity documents burned on the victim’s fanny pack showed he came from Nigeria, but investigators have yet to find a name.
After a while, a man heard from Italy and told the Swedish police that his brother was the person killed. Through DNA analysis it was confirmed that the murder victim is a 32-year-old man.
The killer: I panicked
Police began mapping the 32-year-old’s life before the act.
The first clues led to the Taco Bar.
It turned out that the victim, who was a migrant from Nigeria, had met a 34-year-old man together but someone else in the restaurant, hours before his murder.
After a lengthy police investigation, the 34-year-old accomplice and a 29-year-old accomplice could be prosecuted.

The trial took place in the Attunda District Court, which has now sentenced the 34-year-old man, for his refusal, to 18 years in prison for murder.
The man claims he acted in self-defense. He claims that the 32-year-old murder victim is said to have said “this is it” and pointed a gun at him, to which he “reacted quickly by throwing himself into the back seat and hitting (the victim’s) arm against the roof.” .
Then he shot and killed the 32-year-old.
The killer is said to have panicked after the shooting and “just wanted the situation to go away.” Then he realized that “there was a gas can in the tailgate.”
A story the district court doesn’t believe in.
“The circumstances contradict that it was an emergency situation,” the court writes in the ruling.

I took a taxi to the gym to wash my hands
The other defendant, the 29-year-old, was sentenced to a suspended sentence for aggravated protection of a criminal.
After the car murder, the 29-year-old booked and paid for two taxi rides for the killer. The first trip was immediately after the shooting when the 34-year-old went to a gym and washed his bloody hands with his partner.
They then took an Uber to the 29-year-old’s home, where the killer was allowed to stay.
The prosecutor who led the murder case believes the motive for the incident appears to be related to the victim’s involvement in a web of bank fraud.
