At 1:58 p.m. on Tuesday, an individual sounded the alarm that an injured person had been found outdoors in Algatan.

It turned out to be a 17-year-old boy. He suffered several stab wounds and injuries to the body. The boy was taken to the hospital and initially appeared less seriously injured than he. I should have been able to talk to the care staff.

But the wounds, aimed directly at the heart, were too serious. He was pronounced dead shortly after 4 p.m.

A 25-year-old man was soon a suspect in the crime. He had not yet been arrested Wednesday afternoon.

Therefore, District Attorney Sofia Syrén has decided to request that the 25-year-old be detained in her absence for probable cause of murder.

– There is a certain risk when someone is suspected of a crime who leaves the country. If he is detained in his absence, we will have the opportunity to call the person internationally, he says.

The hearing will be held on Friday.

The 25-year-old is not a Swedish citizen. He has been convicted several times in recent years, but not for violent crimes, but for drug and robbery-related crimes.

– The police work intensively and take a large number of investigative measures to clarify the course of events and who or who is involved in this, says Sofia Syrén.
