On Tuesday night, the police received an alarm about a possible rape in Rågsved, south of Stockholm. A girl under the age of 15 is said to have been raped.
– We received an alarm at 8:45 p.m. from a relative of this child, who suspected that the child had been raped. It is not very clear what initially happened, says Carina Skagerlind of the Stockholm Police.
She continues:
– We went to the scene with a great resource and initially we are looking for the crime scene, it is not fully secured. We believe that we will be assisted by our special search dog who located a place in Rågsved. On that crime scene, we’ve been working through the night and we’ve made some finds that I don’t want to go into right now.

Police technicians worked at the crime scene until 04:00 this morning, and on Wednesday they will continue with additional interrogations of the crime victim, but will also do an inventory of video surveillance in the immediate area. So far no one has been arrested.
– It is too early to say, I do not know what came up in the interrogation. We don’t have anyone who is deprived of liberty, says Skagerlind.
The girl was taken to the hospital.
– The victim has gone, as always, to the rape clinic. She had some minor injuries and therefore we now have a preliminary investigation into aggravated rape of children. Hard because we assume that you have been the target of threats or some kind of violent situation.
