The Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case is under investigation by Mumbai police and surprising details about the kidnapped actor’s career in Bollywood are gradually coming to light.

Police had previously demanded a copy of the actor’s contract with Yash Raj Films (YRF).

Under the contract, Sushant Singh had a 3-movie contract with the producer and was paid just Rs 30 for the first one; Shuddh Desi Romance co-starring Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Kapoor.

For the second company with YRF titled Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, Sushant was reportedly paid only Rs 1 crore.

However, it is unclear whether Sushant received the full amount of his second film because, under the contract, he was given Rs 60 lakh.

His third YRF movie Paani it was scrapped due to creative differences between director Shekhar Kapoor and YRF owner and producer Aditya Chopra.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra apartment in Mumbai on June 14.

The actor had hanged himself and died due to suffocation. Since his death, debates about nepotism and lobbying in the film fraternity have been going around and the police are investigating the same thing.
