Sushant Singh Rajput case update: Police reveal 27 people have been questioned so far, investigating every angle
After more than 10 days after Sushant Singh Rajput’s disappearance, Bandra’s Mumbai police have now recorded statements by at least 27 people about the deceased actor’s suicide case. From his friends and colleagues to his home help staff and rumored girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, they have all recorded their statements. In a last video, DCP Abhishek Trimukhe revealed at what stage the investigation has come. The video was shared on social media and Trimukhe even urged fans and netizens to have a little patience.
In the video, Trimukhe begins by saying, “In the Sushant Singh Rajput case, the Bandra police have recorded statements from 27 people. We have received the detailed post-mortem report that was conducted by a team of 5 doctors. The doctors clearly stated the death as suffocation from hanging. The rest of the samples collected were sent for analysis. We have asked the forensic team to carry out the analysis as a priority. ”
He also added: “The police are investigating all the angles of the case. If something comes up, the police will definitely inform the media and the public. There are many theories that are being published on social media about this case, but rest assured that the Mumbai police are handling this sensitive case in the most professional manner. Have faith in the system as the police will discover the truth. ”
Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on June 14, 2020, at his Bandra residence in Mumbai. His tragic disappearance has left the country and its fans in a deep state of shock.
