Former National Security Adviser Susan Rice, who rallied on the shortlist of Joe Biden’s running mate, dismissed what she described as “harping” Republicans over her role in the Obama administration’s response to the Terre attack in Benghazi in 2012.
Rice blew up Republicans for failing to provoke some kind of anger when, under Donald Watch’s watch, three Americans were killed at a U.S. military base in Pensacola, Florida, last year in a terrorist attack inspired by Al Qaeda.
It appears to be the first foreign-directed terrorist attack on U.S. soil since 9/11 – “because the Department of Defense failed the Saudi military trained on that basis,” she said in an interview with The Atlantic. “But no investigation, no disgrace, no boo from Congress Republicans.”

She also went along with the four Americans killed in a terrorist attack in Niger, before claiming that talks about Benghazi in 2020 are ‘all political distraction’.
Rice has recently been back in the news amid reports that she is on Biden’s shortlist for his election as president. Axios told that Rice, along with sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., The last two are in the running.
If she nods, it will likely raise accusations about Rice’s role in the aftermath of the September 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, in which four Americans died – including Ambassador Chris Stevens.

Reis, who appeared on several news shows on Sunday, said the attacks happened as a result of spontaneous protests in response to an anti-Muslim YouTube video, which was later determined not to be the case.
Republicans on five House committees first submitted an interim report alleging that Rice had intentionally abused the public. However, the House Intelligence Committee later came to the conclusion that it did not.
Reis, who appeared on several news shows on Sunday, said Benghazi’s new rehearsal was only an attempt to divert President Coronavirus’ disaster.
“In a year when more than 160,000 Americans died from COVID-19 because of the incompleteness and incapacity of this president and disregard for human life, he put his own political interests above the health and well-being and economy of the United States and the opportunity to educate our children … will they talk about Benghazi? She said. “I say it well, let her.”
She also said her mother warned her not to do the Sunday shows, and asked why then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton did not do so.

“But I agree [to appear], as a team player. And her instinct was, ‘I smell a rat. You should not have to do that. ‘And I said,’ Mom, don’t be ridiculous. I have done this many times before. “She was absolutely right. “
Last week, Biden told reporters that he would elect his party’s vice-presidential nominee by “the first week in August.” But a source familiar with the process told Fox News on Monday that “an announcement this week is likely not.”
