After his UFC heavyweight championship trilogy builds victory over Daniel Cormier at UFC 252, Stipe Miocic stated that he does not always get the respect he deserves.
Based on speculative odds for his next fights, he may have a point.
Betside BetOnline.ag has set odds for possible fights between Miocic and UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones (who is again plagued to set up a division) and a rematch with the rising Francis Ngannou, who defeated Miocic by unanimous decision at UFC 220 in January 2018.
In both cases, Miocic is a slight underdog, currently at +175 against Ngannou and +130 against Jones. On the other hand, Ngannou is a 2-on-1 favorite at -205, while Jones is -150 to win a superfight with Miocic.
Miocic has won eight of his last 10 fights, including a UFC record of four successful heavyweight title defenses. Jones, currently in a dispute with the UFC over compensation, is currently in his second reign as undisputed lightweight heavyweight champion who has seen him defend his title three consecutive times.
Since the loss to Miocic and Derrick Lewis, Ngannou has played four consecutive victories against Jairzinho Rozenstruik, Junior dos Santos, Cain Velasquez and Curtis Blaydes, with none of those fights lasting more than 71 seconds.
