Cameras started spinning today as planned on the last two episodes of The CWs Supernatural in Vancouver.
Series Producer Warner Bros. TV made an appointment with the local unions that started paving the way for production. Like any other Hollywood production, Supernatural was shut down in mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The CW is currently working to hold back seven episodes, including the two yet to be shot, for a final chapter to air in the fall of 2020. Pending filming to recover this week, the network yesterday premiered on October 8 for the final batch of episodes of the series, leading to the finale of the series.
This marks the first WBTV series to resume production in Vancouver. It joins Netflix’s Midnight Mass, who recently started filming, with ABCs The Good Doctor leading a list of other shows expected to begin filming in the next two weeks.
