Stella Tennant, one of the most famous catwalks of the 1990s and one of the cover stars, has died at the age of 50, her family announced on Wednesday. “With great sadness we announce the sudden death of Stella Tenement on December 22, 2020,” the statement said. “Stella was a beautiful woman and she was an inspiration to all of us. She will be sorely missed.” Police Scotland said they were called “after the accidental death of a 50-year-old woman” in the town of Duns on the Scottish border and there were no suspicious circumstances. On December 17, 50-year-old Stella Tennant made a presentation for the top fashion house, including Chan Chanl, Versace and Valentino, and had music by Carl Lagerfeld. He continued his career in recent years.

British Vogue wrote in a tribute that she last appeared on its cover in 2018, marking 25 years since she first appeared in the 22-year-old magazine in 1993.

She had an aristocratic background and was the granddaughter of Deborah Mitford, who died in 2014. She was married to French photographer-osteopath David Lasnett and the couple had four children.
