Stranger Things Star Gates Matarazzo Works As A Food Runner In NJ Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

Holes Matarazzo stays busy!

As Stranger Things has stopped production of Season 4 at noon amid the coronavirus pandemic, New Jersey’s landlord has taken over a new summer job, and it has nothing to do with Hawkins, Indiana, or the Upside Down.

The 17-year-old actor works as a food runner at a restaurant on Long Beach Island, where some of his family members are also involved, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed with rep from Matarazzo.

The outlet also reported that although Matarazzo has a hat and a face mask on the job, the Netflix star is still recognized by fans – which is no big surprise as the Stranger Things is one of the most watched shows of the streaming services.

A rep for Matarazzo did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Before production paused, the cast of the hit show reunited in March for their first table reading.

Along with Matarazzo, David Harbor, Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Maya Hawke, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery and more were all seen in a video of the reunion of Atlanta.

Just days later, on March 12, Matarazzo and McLaughlin also attended one of the last NBA games before the season was halted due to the health crisis. The two pals and costars were photographed smiling at the game as they posed side-by-side in Georgia as the New York Knicks took the Atlanta Hawks.

Production was stopped Stranger Things a day after leaving Matarazzo and McLaughlin and has yet to restart.

It is unclear when Stranger Things 4, which was expected to debut on Netflix later this year, will be released.
