Stevie Nix has relinquished most of his music publishing rights.
The 72-year-old musical superstar – known for her solo work and even starring with Fleetwood Mt. – sold the rights to Primary Wave Music, which announced the deal in a news release on Friday.
Citing people familiar with the transaction, the Wall Street Journal reported that the sale was worth 100 100 million, giving the company an 80% stake in the rights.
The deals include “Age of Seventeen,” “Landslide,” “Stand Back,” “Rihanna” and “Dreams.”

The purchase also gives the primary wave the rights to Knicks’ name and parity, and the singer will be allowed to sign new songwriters into the joint venture.

Nick recently saw a resurgence in popularity with his Fleetwood Mac bandmates when “Dreams” re-entered the Billboard charts following a viral ticket ok video that featured men skatingboarding and lip-syncing to tunes.
Originally released in 1977, “Dreams” was featured on the iconic album “Rumors”. The overall record also grew in popularity and hit the top 10 charts this year, 43 years after its release.
