Steve-O gets creative to promote his new comedy specially.
The 46-year-old actor-cabaret artist revealed on Instagram on Thursday that he has been taped on a billboard in Los Angeles advertising the special “Gnarly,” which is currently available to stream on his website.
In the announcement, Stevo-O – born Stephen Gilchrist Glover – shared two photos of himself: One is a close-up selfie, showing the duct tape holding him to the board, and the other is a picture of further on the ground.

“I’m stuck to a billboard right now … and want to emphasize that a team of real professionals rigged everything safely,” reads its title. “There’s zero chance I’ll fall, and it’s important to me that we do not waste valuable city resources on this.”
The “Game Over” star said he was “happy to just hang out” to promote the special, which he said he “worked so hard on.”
Glover concluded: “It’s called Gnarly and if you’re over 18, check it out on steveo.com! Thanks!”
He also shared a video on his Instagram Story of the billboard to share his experience.

“Hi everyone, so I’ve been on this billboard for a quarter and a half now, a little more,” the cabaret artist explained. “Start getting nice. There’s some politicians involved, but they say they’m not sure I’m committing crimes. I don ‘t think I’m paying for the billboard, man.”
Glover then assured his fans that he was “professionally rigged” to the ad, so he was “safe.”
“We’ll see how long I stay up here,” he continued. “If they let me, I think it might be a while.”
Local news reported that the Los Angeles Fire Department removed him from the billboard and he was examined by firefighters.
The Los Angeles Police Department told Fox News that they have not been involved since he was removed from the billboard and the Los Angeles Fire Department did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The star was previously accused of creating a false emergency shelter, vandalism and various fireworks offenses after he put a protest on top of a crane, resulting in a 30-day prison sentence, such as probation and a $ 14,000 fine.
