Steve Harvey apologizes for dropping an F bomb after NFL legend ‘penis’ response in ‘Family Feud’

It was an NFL battle of greats in Family celebrity fightSunday when the current stars took on the NFL Hall of Fame. One legend in particular, Bruce Smith, provided presenter Steve Harvey and viewers with one of the most legendary responses in game history.

While playing in the game’s “fast money” round, Smith was asked: “If Captain Hook was making the moon like a handyman, could he replace his hook with what tool?” To which Smith replied, “A hammer.” Unfortunately, his teammate Michael Irvin had already guessed that answer, so he was forced to provide a second answer.

Smith’s second response surprised everyone when he immediately followed with “One Penis.”

Harvey had already started asking the next question when he stopped abruptly and said, “What the hell did he say?”

After several seconds of laughter from the audience and the participants, Harvey apologized profusely. “I swear I’m sorry, that just came out,” said Harvey. “I don’t even know where that came from?”

Everyone on set found the response to be funny, and viewers at home were equally impressed. Many people, from fans to sports personalities, took to Twitter to revel in the hilarious response.

Fun answers are common in the contest, but this answer was exceptionally fun. “However, your butt goes to YouTube,” Harvey warned Smith. “You will be the best clip ever played.”

Smith didn’t earn any points for the obviously wrong answer, but he did help his team solidify a $ 25,000 donation to the Professional Athlete Foundation.

Family celebrity fight airs on Sundays at 8 pm on ABC.
