Steve Carey takes a playful dig on the Rockets while talking about the Warriors ’offense

On Monday, Golden State Warriors volunteered inside their San Francisco seals to wrap the minic amp “double.” After an extensive break from practice, the Warriors spent the last two weeks working as a team at the Chase Center.

However, Stephen Curry and Dremond Green were absent from the minicamp for family reasons, but Clay Thompson made his first official appearance in court on practice after missing the entire season due to a knee injury sustained in the 2019 NBA Finals.

While Thompson is rehabilitating his ACL injury, a lot has changed in Golden State. With the arrival of Eric Paschal, Marquis Chris and Andrew Wiggins, players like Kevin Durant, Shaun Livingston, Andre Igudala and Demarcus Cousin are no longer in Steve Carey’s circulation. On top of the roster change, Thompson’s fellow Splash brother missed 60 games in 2019-20 with a hand injury.

However, the movement in the Bay Area will not force Steve Carey to make dramatic changes to his offense around Thompson and Green. Also in an interview on Athletic’s “TK Show” Tim Kawakami. Kerr said the Warriors would not be “rebuilding the cycle” with their new employees in the city.

Carrie realized the Houston Rockets’ style of play when talking to Kwakami about the Golden State offense.

Through Athletic’s “TK Show”

We’ve been in touch, and I’ve talked to both of those individuals on the phone, and I think they feel pretty good about what we have to do. We don’t rediscover the cycle, but we have a lot of different employees around those people. We are still going to be Warriors. We’re not going to suddenly go, turn into rockets and change our offense and pick up and roll 70 times more than one person in the game.

… But we became ourselves. And what makes the players Steff and Clay do is a combination of what they do and off-ball – that’s what drives the defense. And what makes Dremond special is the ability to deliver from four or five locations – really playmaking at that level.

With the change of trends in the lineup, the Warriors still have the NBA. The draft and free agency period is to be added to their roster. In November, Kerr and Bob Myers will be on the clock with the No. 2 overall pick in the NBA Draft. After Draft Knight, the Warriors will have the option to use the .2 17.2 million trade player exception and their 6 6 million mid-level exception.

Despite the new look in 2020-21, the isolation of the Care Rockets does not mirror the heavy attack. However, James Harden, Russell Westbrook and the Rockets may have their own next season for some change. Following in the footsteps of Mike Denton, the Rockets are on the market for play-killers on the side.

Although both sides will change next season, the main part of Golden State’s rivalry with Houston is still in its place. Whenever it looked different, whenever Curry and Thompson lead in front of Harden and Westbrook, that theater-watch is a must.
