Democrats “want death and destruction,” former White House strategist Steve Bannon told “Sunday Morning Futures” in an exclusive interview the day before the start of the 2020 Democratic National Convention.
“I think this week will be great for the Trump campaign and the RNC [Republican National Convention] and the White House to show the American people exactly what the [Democrats’] policies, ”said Bannon host Maria Bartiromo.
He then declared that Democrats “want death and destruction.”
“They want the death of the American economy and the destruction of the American way of life, and I think if this is marked at the end of the week, it’s Joe Biden smelling out of his basement,” Bannon continued.
Bannon made the remarks the day before the Democratic National Convention is scheduled for 2020. The convention marks the official transition of Joe Biden from the party’s presumptive nominee to his official presidential candidate. It will also program the party four nights of rallying its base and persuading swinging voters to participate in its cause.
Bartiromo pointed out on Sunday that Bannon “helped lead Donald Trump to victory in 2016 as the chief executive of Trump’s campaign” and asked him what he thought of the DNC’s lineup, which includes speeches by Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., And former presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.
“I think this is perfect for President Trump,” Bannon said in response. “Actually, if I were the campaign as the RNC, I would reinforce the messages from this convention and here’s the reason: President Trump won in [20]16 because he stood up for America, he stood up for working class and middle class people against a financial and political elite that was driving the controlled decline of the United States and you will see it for the next four days. ”
He went on to declare that Democrats “will talk about more globalization, more economic destruction, now combined with this kind of subversion of this cultural Marxism and anarchy of Antifa and certain elements of the Black Lives Matter [movement]. ”

‘So I think it’s perfect, because this will come down to a pretty bold choice between wanting America’s globalization? Do you want the America of Joe Biden, and do you want the America of these political and financial elites? Or do you want Donald Trump’s first American economic nationalism and populism? Bannon said.
He then pointed out that under the Obama-Biden administration “you had the largest concentration of wealth in the history of America.”
“President Trump turned that around to an economy of striving, in which Blacks, Hispanics, the working class, middle class begin to increase in wages and lower unemployment,” he added.
In September, before the coronavirus pandemic was declared in the United States, the unemployment rate was 3.5%, a 50-year low.
“Also Joe Biden was seized by President Obama from the pivot to Asia and what did the Democrats do? “They cut off terrible relations with Iran, which then collaborated with the Chinese Communist Party,” Bannon said. ‘It was Joe Biden who fumbled the pivot to Asia. It was Joe Biden who basically gave the South China Sea away from the cyber intrusions. It was Joe Biden in the muscle to try to confront the Chinese Communist Party and he failed. ”
Bannon stressed that Biden will have to “prove to the DNC during the DNC that he can take over Donald Trump because I think the policy will blow up this election itself.”
