Steph Curry made one request when asked to rehearse Warriors at NBA draft lottery

It’s not even been 24 hours since the Minnesota Timberwolves won the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery on Thursday night, and the truth is that no one has any indication who will be the No. 1 overall pick.

But apparently the oddsmakers need to do their job.

And the people at the sports book “PointsBet” have Anthony Edwards in the pole position.

The Warriors have the rights to the 2nd overall pick, and their decision could be significantly influenced by what Minnesota does first.

ESPN’s Jonathan Givony has LaMelo Ball go no. 1, and Edwards slips to no. 2.

Stadium’s Jeff’s Goodman also has the T-Wolves taking Ball with the first overall pick, but he has Golden State picking James Wiseman.

Athletic’s Sam Vecenie agrees with Goodman that the Warriors will choose Wiseman, but he went with Edwards at no. 1.

“If I get included on the defensive end every time, no one is better than me in the draft,” Edwards Taylor Rooks told Bleacher Report before the NBA season ended in mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic. “Of course I feel the best to score. I can pass, rebound – all kinds of stuff.

“But I feel that defense separates everyone in the concept.”

Despite what the Georgia product believes, there is no consensus top selection this year. That note everywhere to Warriors fans – be prepared for rampant speculation over the next few months.

It will be a wild ride.
