One of the most popular independent hits on Switch is finally getting the physical treatment fans have been waiting for as Fangamer has revealed a gorgeous new release for the wonderful farming simulator, Stardew valley.
Actually, there are two different physical editions in the works: a standard version and a collector’s edition, and the latter is available exclusively through the Fangamer site. Here is what you can expect to find in each version:
Standard physical release
– Available on the Nintendo Switch game card.
– Plan to include Version 1.4.4 on the card, with free updates available to download as they become available.
– Includes an illustrated mini guide to help players get started.
– Reversible cover with an alternative design with a Joja theme.
Collector’s Edition
– Six-piece deluxe wooden stand made of responsibly sourced birch and cherry.
– Wooden lapel pin
– 14-page Junimo comic by Chihiro Sakaida
– Writing your farm with gold foil details on paper made from 30% recycled straw (a by-product of real farming!)
– Sturdy, high-quality collector’s edition box with illustrations by Kari Fry
– Chihiro Sakaida designed soft polyester / nylon blend cleaning cloth
Preorders are live as we speak, and both editions are planned to launch on November 6, 2020.
