Starbucks praises Black Barista’s response to ‘F — Black Lives Matter’ masked-escalating customer


A Starbucks barrister in San Diego County is being praised for handling a disturbing customer who repeatedly refused to wear his mask and then shouted “F — Black Lives Matter” as he walked out of the store.

Alex Beck, 19, shared footage of the incident on his Ticket OK and Facebook accounts on Sunday and wrote the video with the caption, “This was my day.”

In the clip, Beckham is seen participating with two different clients, one of whom wears a mask and the other appears to have a mask around his tights. Through Beckham’s own account, the masked woman initially wore a face covering, but took it down to order from a coworker.

Beckham claims he asked the woman to just change the mask on his face, which he allegedly did, before removing it again and becoming disruptive.

The video starts with a disturbing woman telling me that “you don’t hear anything when you talk to me like that, and I know it’s because you’re discriminating against me because I’m a Trump supporter.”

The woman then says, “F — Black Lives Matter” before asking Beckom for both a straw and sugar, which Beckom provides. And just as the disruptive woman is accepting sugar, Beckham reminds her to wear a mask inside Starbucks again.

“And again, the next time you come in, you need to keep the mask on or I can’t help you,” Beckom says, following Starbucks’ storewide policy.

The woman then appears agitated, claiming she has to wear a mask, claiming “it’s not the law”, saying, “I can show you the penal code and everything. It’s a scam. No need to wear a mask. I don’t wear masks. ”

The woman soon leaves the store, only to find “F — Black Live Matter.”

In a statement to Fox News, a Starbucks spokesperson said the woman’s behavior “is not welcome in our stores” and added that the company is currently “focusing on providing support to our partners who demonstrated tremendous composers during a very difficult interaction.”

Starbucks’ own policy, meanwhile, requires all customers in the United States to wear a “face mask when visiting our stores.” San Diego County is also currently requiring residents to wear facial ings when shopping in stores, waiting in line at stores, or picking up food, as well as in many other public settings.
