Star Wars: The Old Republic finally available on Steam

Star Wars, The Old RepublicBioware’s long-standing Starware-themed MMO finally hit Steam.

Players who want to watch the MMO can jump free to a far distant galaxy and start playing a slightly limited version of the game. Playing for free will give you access to the game’s original story campaigns and a couple of recent expansions, but some of the game’s most premium features, such as the full level 75 cap and the latest expansion content, including last year’s Expansion from Onslaught, they are still locked behind the subscription price of $ 14.99 a month.

Star Wars, The Old Republic It was originally released as a standalone game in 2011, but was finally added to EA’s Origin platform a few years later. This new move from Origin to Steam appears to be part of a larger EA initiative to move some of its games to Valve’s PC Gaming platform. EA has been moving games for several months, including old Battlefield titles and even other Star Wars games like last year Jedi: fallen order.

For now, The old Republic It will be downloadable and playable on both Steam and Origin.
