A drop of information in the flood that comes from the last “Gigaleak“It was the source code and the unused assets for Star fox 2, including a human character never seen before. Completed in 1995, Nintendo archived the game for fear that it would look inferior to the graphics of the next generation of PlayStation. (The game was later published as an unlockable title in the SNES Classic in 2017). But none of that matters to me.

WATCH IT !!

Her hair, the easy confidence of her smile. HAIR!!

WHO IS SHE??

Even one of the game’s creators, Dylan Cuthbert, does not know.

Could we have gotten a Star fox where humans lived and loved alongside anthropomorphized hawks, foxes, and barrel rabbits? (Is it passable to make a barrel prank in 2020?) More importantly, could we have had Nintendo’s first B?missing female character in 1995 instead of waiting, depending on whether a Game Freak game even qualifies, Lenora in Pokémon Black / White about 15 years later? (Am I forgetting someone? I would love to be corrected here).

She could have been the representation of that little Bgirls who play Nintendo needed when video games were still “for boys and white people”. And she was a pilot. How many more black aviatrix could we have had behind her?

Nintendo didn’t dislike it for not including it in the final game. I understand the limitations of game development. I also don’t want to think about what kind of contortions my brain would have to go through to justify humans in a universe full of straight frogs. Although I hope, as the information contained in the leak becomes more alive, we can learn more about it.
