Google’s game streaming service is entering a new month with more offers and free games for its paid subscribers and just more games, period. From a game for game makers, yes, that’s one thing, to a sale on Metro Exodus, here is the roundup of what’s new at Stadia for July (and the last week of June).
New games and DLC
The newest of today’s new games is Wave Break, a navigation game with skate and gun mechanics and arcade and racing modes, inspired by the Miami Vice days. Oh, and you can play like an otter (are they otters?) In a white suit. Everything is alright. Grab it for $ 30.
Speaking of Metro, both Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux are now on the platform for $ 20 each. Then more DLC will complete the week on Thursday with Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood on the table for $ 15.
Those who pay $ 10 a month for Stadia Pro will get a Stadia premiere on July 1: Crayta is a game that allows you to create games and collaborate with other players within them. Talk about the beginning.
Also coming out next week is Sega’s Monster Boy and The Cursed Kingdom, an evolution of the Wonder Boy platform mission series, plus RPG West of Loathing. SteamWorld Dig arrives as a respectable latest member of the quartet.
Stadia is adding Metro Exodus and Football Manager 2020 to its free tier and Pro customer offer counter. Some savings on the Metro DLC are exclusive to Pro subs. Here are the details:
