Stacey Dash and her husband both want to have their marriage from the books, like it never happened … and the mister’s claim that he only said “I do” in a spiritual trance.
Stacey’s former lawyer hubby, Jeffrey Marty, filed new court documents in response to Stacey’s divorce settlement … and he asked a judge to annul the marriage, something Stacey herself did not oppose.
Jeff claims he only took his vows after Stacey’s pastor put some serious religious pressure on him. He says they went to battle on April 6, 2018 – but that’s only because 10 days in advance, he claims her pastor “unexpectedly and suddenly proclaimed that it was God’s will” they get arrested.
However, Jeff says his ability to consent to marriage was hijacked by the use of “hypnotic prayer techniques.” Jeff does not describe the techniques or how he was programmed to marry Stacey. He also says that there was pressure from other clergy to tie the knot.
Well, for Stacey’s part … she and her lawyers do not fully acknowledge what Jeff is saying here about hypnotism and everything … they say he was not showing any unusual signs about his mental state at the time. But, she does not fight him and she also asks the judge cancel the marriage AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
That may be the best – her marriage was pretty rocky, and that sheds light.
