Hundreds of Black Lives Matter protesters returned to the St. Louis mansion from an armed couple whose armed position went viral last week, only this time the couple only watched from their balcony.
Mark and Patricia McCloskey, who confronted protesters with an automatic rifle and pistol last week, kept their pistols holstered on Friday when the crowd returned, scorning the protest along with their attorney and private security waiting.
Mark McCloskey, 63, said he grabbed his AR-15 on June 28 when protesters broke through a door on his private path because they feared they were “storming the Bastille” and burned his house.
Patricia McCloskey, 61, was seen holding a small silver revolver, sometimes pointed directly at protesters.
“They are angry, they are screaming,” Mark McCloskey told Tucker Carlson on FOX News. “Saliva is coming out of your mouth. They come towards our house. Out there with my wife, and I said, ‘Oh my God, we are absolutely alone. There is no one here to protect us except us. “
When about 300 protesters returned on Friday, the posters for the properties said “Black lives matter.” Period “and” No Justice, No Peace “: Mark McCloskey could be seen duller looking from his balcony while his wife appeared to be recording a video of the protesters on her mobile phone.
His lawyer, Albert Watkins, was seen looking at the crowd in another image posted by Reuters.
The photos also show private security guards setting up barricades and securing the door before the new demonstration on Friday.
The crowd stayed outside the mansion for about 15 minutes before continuing, the Daily Mail reported.
