Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher joins Rainbow Six Siege in a new crossover video

11 August 2020 Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Shadow Legacy is official, and it comes with a Splinter Cell crossover.

Because seven years did not appear in his own game, Sam Fisher sure comes of it. A video – leaked earlier today and now officially released – shows him participating in Rainbow Six Siege in an upcoming crossover event, which he works under the code name Zero.

Sam Fisher’s last appearance was in Ghost Recon Wildlands, in which he featured in a set of PvE missions added after the launch. Since then, he has been seen primarily in leaks and rumors, mostly in June in a shaky leaked video game posted to Reddit suggesting that co-worker Splinter Cell was planning to come to Siege under the codename ‘Scout’, provided of a gadget that allowed him to drill and see through walls.

“You should know better than to write me off,” Fisher says in the clip. Fisher’s three distinctive night vision lenses click on in their trademark green sheen. “Think of it as a learning moment.” The video shows a bearded Fisher carrying a high-column winter coffee and fighting armor, holding a gun in one hand and holding a tablet in the other.

The clip also confirms that the next major content update for Siege is called Operation Shadow Legacy.

If Fisher joins the ranks, we assume it will be as a striker – his specialty has always been infiltration. But it could also mean that our list of the best Rainbow Six Siege operators for 2020 could have a shakeup along the way.
